The Bhavan Hindu Temple...
colour and busy activity at the heart of the Hindu community
and beyond.
Today, just on the edge of Chorlton and clearly visible from
the road, is the Bhavan Hindu Temple, with its magnificent
gable end dominated by five towers and a bold colourful
appearance.
The Temple dates from 1987 when the Hindu community
bought the old Wilbraham Road Congregational Church and
began work converting it into a temple.
